TEAM SELECTION PROCESS FootSteppers who wish to apply for a team position should make a note of the following procedure: Applications from team and candidates immediately following a weekend are accepted only through the mail, sent to the following:
They are not accepted during a weekend. Team members will be selected from those whose application are received approximately two months prior to a weekend. Prospective team members are each sent a letter inviting them to be on the team. Applicants who can make a commitment to participate in the three pre-weekend meetings as well as the FootSteps weekend will be asked to call the Rector whose phone number will be listed in the letter. Failure to make this call by the deadline indicated will remove a teen from consideration from the upcoming team. However, he or she will continue to be invited until he or she commits to a team or declines three times. The FootSteps Board will review the list of applicants who commit to the scheduled team training meeting and will begin the team building process. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis, but this is not the only consideration. Our goal is to assemble the best possible ministry team. Recent weekends have seen a full quota of 52 team members who serve up to 50 candidates. The FootSteps Board is excited that so many tees have a personal desire to serve their peers and their Lord in this ministry.
